The Guest House
Apart from it all, in the middle of everything.
For grandparents, or a couple inside a larger group.
The Guest House is the smallest of the estate's three stone houses and the most private, an independent studio standing on its own side of the pool courtyard, apart from both wings. With a double bed, two single sofa beds, air conditioning and full heating, it suits the grandparents of a big gathering, or a couple keeping their own hours within a larger party, at the long table by day, behind their own front door at night.

The Studio
One room, the sea in three arches.
Timber overhead, whitewash all round, the bay beyond the glass.
One room, complete.
From the double bed, the whole house reads at a glance, the timber ceiling running overhead, whitewashed walls, antiques and hand-made wooden furniture, and the arched alcove waiting beyond.
Two more, behind the arch.
An arched recess at the back of the studio holds the two single sofa beds that take the house from two sleepers to four, a room within the room, with the pool courtyard and the long table only a few steps beyond the door.
Its own shower room.
Warm-toned tiles, brass-and-chrome fittings and a timber vanity under the mirror, the Guest House washes and dresses entirely under its own roof, so no morning ever starts with a walk across the courtyard.
